Obviously, that cat had recognized a sweet set-up.  It joined the human herd and gave rise to your sweet kitty cat!  And dozens of other breeds.

Cats first made their way into our hearts then into our art.  Thousands of years ago they learned to hang around us for an easy meal.

They hunted our pests.  We adopted them as pets.  Their skills amazed and aided us.  We immortalized them.

Today, their hunting skills may no longer be needed. But their beauty and grace still is.

The ancient Egyptians worshiped them!    Imagine the amount of time it took to weave this intricate pattern.  That's devotion!  Thousands of cat mummies survived the centuries for us to see.

Here's a much more modern depiction of a feline.  This one wears boots and a coat.  Wonder what mischief this kitty has in mind?
